  • Megan Harrington-Johnson

    MANAGING PARTNER AND CO-FOUNDER

Megan is the co-founder and Managing Partner of HJW Attorneys, which she founded together with Richard Wands in 2018. Together Megan and Richard have built HJW into such a formidable firm that in 2021 it was recognized as The Best Boutique Law Firm of the Year in South Africa. Megan was also shortlisted for Partner of the Year (Africa) in 2023.

Megan began her career in 2010 at Schindlers Attorneys where she was made the youngest partner in the history of the firm in 2015. For the first 7 years of her career, Megan focused primarily on Family and Child Law. By virtue of the environment in which she was working, Megan soon became a specialist in very complex, high-level, and intricate Divorce Matters with a particular commercial slant.
